The gospel singer who has certainly been around for quite a while has been in the business of impacting humanity with her songs in the service of God through various choir groups across the country.

After many years of speculation about when she was going to put up an album, the gospel singer recently wrapped up work on her new album titled UNVEILED 1.

Given the sonority of her voice and the captivating lyrics therein, UNVEILED 1 which seeks to reach out to lost souls, the afflicted, broken-hearted and the downtrodden certainly ranks amongst the best in the gospel genre, complete with worship, praise and negro spirituals; truly a worshipper’s delight.

The 7-track album will be unveiled at its launching billed to take place at the Agape Worship Center along Zion Close, off Kosoko Road, Ojodu sBerger, Lagos on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 2pm with a red carpet.

Speaking to securenigeria365, the gospel crooner spoke on what inspired her to drop her album.

Her words; “Against the backdrop of my association with different christian gathering using my gift of singing, I came to the conviction that God didn’t give me the unique gift of singing for just a few but for the entire humanity; to use words of hope, strength to sooth the afflicted in a world of pain, sorrow and affliction and draw humanity’s attention back to their creator”.

On the challenges along the road in coming out with the album, Imoh said the first was with having the self confidence that it was what God wanted her to do, having confidently answered the many questions that barraged her mind, after initial skepticism.

“The next challenge was finance which affected a major part of the project. At a certain point there was a strain on finances which slowed down things a bit but to the glory of God it was all completed by Godspeed”.

Nnenna revealed that work had already begun on her second album UNVEILED 11, which is expected to be out by December this year after which the video production of the two would be propelled in view for release hopefully next year.

According to the mother of 4 who says her husband has been a strong pillar of support on the project, the ultimate aim of the project is to reach the lost, be an inspiration to the down-trodden and those without opportunities who feel unqualified to be called God’s children in the midst of the supposedly qualified, stemming from low esteem and lost hope.

“Reconciling man back to his creator is the ultimate vision, by being able to reach out to humanity and letting them understand that only in God can they have security, healing succor, hope and life”, she disclosed.
