For the purpose of those who are yet to know you, tell us more about you?
TMD OLALUDE is a Nigerian gospel musician based in Europe for over two decades now. I’m from a strong Christian background, the family of Pastor David O Olalude. I’ve been in the industry for over three decades now. I grew up in a Christian family. My father is a pastor and he’s also gifted with music. I took after him. Music naturally is something I inherited from my Father. I started from church choir. Eventually I had a call that I should work for the lord but I never had it in mind that I will have a music group.
Why Europe not Nigeria?
I started my music career in Nigeria. My music is meant for those who are in Nigeria and diaspora. I’m enjoying it here too because I’m well embraced in the community of white. And I give the honour and the glory to God.
Tell us some of the concert you’ve performed in?
I can only remember few but I know I honoured invites from churches whenever they are having concert both in Nigeria and diaspora.
How many album so far?

What’s your advice for upcoming gospel musicians?
I used to say and I will continue to say it that, it is not just about the talent. You jump into music and you think the whole world will embrace you immediately, it doesn’t work that way. You must be determined to work for God. We have a lot of them out there who are not after working for God. They are always after what they could benefit which is the reason why they are not allowing God to drive them in the light. So, my advice is that, they should allow God to use them and every other things will fall into place.
What’s your take on gospel music in Nigeria and what is the way forward?
My advice for gospel musician is for them to allow unity among themselves. Love should be established among them. They should not emulate the worldly artistes. They should let the world notice it in them that they are really God called servant. And let the world emulate good character of been a Christian. They should preach what is in the bible. And they should not allow the world to see in them that, they are singing mainly to make money. And to the gospel artistes, the bible says, the hand that does not work should not eat. If pastors are not honouring them or they are yet to call or where you have gone to minister in churches, you were not well appreciated, that does not mean you should become an enemy to the church or the pastor. They should live a good life that showcase being a child of God.
