Ooni of Ife Finally Brings Home New Queen, as Naomi Moronke Becomes Yeyeluwa Oodua

Published

By: Manny Ita
It is not good for man to be alone. The Almighty, the creator of man and the universe who stands above all knowledge made the woman to be companion, friend, lover, and help amongst others to the man. And for a king, whose head remains invariably uneasy due to the crown which lies on it, that injunction couldn’t be more apt.
Speculations about the marital equation of the young and handsome head of the yoruba nation have been anything but silent, after his botched marriage to former queen Zainab. Unknown to many perhaps is the fact that the ebullient king had been taking his time to ensure that only the right woman shares his imperial space, perhaps also against the backdrop of vital lessons learnt from the previous marriage.
In any case the quiet town of Ife got agog with Jubilation as The Arole Oodua, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II receieved his Queen on Thursday 19th October, 2018.
It is therefore confirmed that Her Majesty, Olori Moronke Naomi Silekunola Ogunwusi is the new Yeyeluwa Oodua.
Welcoming his new bride as the marriage rites was underway, Oba Ogwunusi had glowing words for his beautiful wife.
“I waited patiently upon the Almighty the King of kings, he eventually did it in the midst of many trials.”
‘Shilekunola, Moronke, Naomi; the greatest Arsenal you can apply on this highly revered throne with many rules and regulations in the midst of undiluted tradition, heritage and culture is the “Fear Of God In You”, which is the beginning of your wisdom on this throne of Oduduwa”.
“You are welcome home my beautiful and adorable queen.”
In her 20’s, beautiful Naomi is the founder and President of En-Heralds – an interdenominational ministry based in Akure, Ondo state. She started public ministry at the age of eighteen and became a full time evangelist in October 2011. She has six siblings.
With the arrival of the new queen, celebrations are sure going to be continuing in the palace and hopefully before long, there are expectations that a new and different kind of celebration will take place with the arrival of royal babies.
We wish the Ooni a happy and fruitful married life.

Femi Otedola Refutes Governorship Rumours

Published

By: Manny Ita

The rumours assumed lives of their own after Otedola opened a Twitter account and hopped on a Molue bus in suburban Lagos—all in the space of three months.

Video footage of Otedola in a Molue immediately went viral, fueling speculations that it was a carefully orchestrated populist stunt from the billionaire ahead of the 2019 electioneering season.

Fake Twitter accounts have also been opened in Otedola’s name. It was from one of those cloned and parody accounts that it was announced he will be running for political office.

But Otedola has come out to pour cold water on the rumour mill.

“My attention has been drawn to a news piece where false information from a parody account was posted. I am a man of the people and I will always be on the side of the masses but I am stating clearly via this medium that I am not running for office”, he tweeted.

“The Governor of Lagos State is doing a commendable job and Lagosians should be proud of him”.

Otedola endorses Ambode

In March, Otedola endorsed serving Lagos Governor Akinwunmi Ambode for a second term in office.

“He is building roads and bridges, schools and hospitals, water treatment plants, sewage and storm water drainages, solid waste management plants and mass transport infrastructure”, Otedola said of Ambode at the time.

“He recently got approval for the electricity power infrastructure for Lagos, which when fully executed, will make Lagos State almost energy independent in Nigeria.

“You are all aware of the newly-acquired mass transit buses that are going to be natural gas powered in order for us in Lagos to be the first to comply with the global climate agenda of de-carbonisation,” Otedola had added.

Like the rest of the country, Lagos which is Nigeria’s wealthiest State and commercial capital, will hold fresh elections to choose a Governor and a slew of lawmakers in 2019

Breaking: Ooni of Ife, It’s a Taboo to Marry a Single Mother…Palace Source

Contrary to rumours making the rounds in most media (not TheBoss Newspapers) that the Ooni of Ife, Oba EnitanBreaking: Ooni Ife, It’s a Taboo to Marry the Single Mother…Palace Source Babatunde Adeyeye Ogunwusi is planning to unveil a new Olori in person of one Emmanuella Ropo, the Boss Newspapers can authoritatively report that the revered monarch is not making any such plans, more so, as the person involved is already a mother. The act, according to palace source, is a taboo.

Our exclusive source spat: Ooni can’t marry any woman who has ever already had a baby for other man.

Our source revealed that contrary to Ife tradition, the woman in question, Emmanuella, runs a kids related boutique and fun shop.

Investigations further revealed that whoever wants to be an Olori in Ife kingdom must be a woman with no string of motherhood in any form. Emmanuella, unfortunately is reported to be a mother, and has been in more two amorous relationships.

However, unconfirmed reports have it that she’s personally interested in having the monarch pronounce her a lover, but the Kabiesi doesn’t know her in person, and sources from Ife have said that the picture being paraded was just a privilege shot by itinerant phototakers – including that of Emmanuella at a function in Lagos months back.

TheBoss learnt that the rumour is being peddled by some of her close friends who has close relationship with her estranged lover, known simply as Femi. It was said that they actually actually orchestrated the scandal to frustrate Emmanuella’s future relationship after she allegedly jilted him.

Palace source told TheBoss during the Olojo Festival that the way things are at the moment, the monarch will unveil his Olori in no distant time, and at the appropriate time, taking into consideration that once beaten twice shy.

Emmanuella’s first marriage to one Joshua Adewale, an oil dealer, produced two girls, before she hooked one Femi and had her third child – a boy.

It is also on record that she had been spotted with a popular Abeokuta-based Fuji musician, Alhaji Sefiu Alao Adekunle aka Omo Oko, who lost his wife last December, as well as a senior customs officer whose daughter got married recently at Oniru, in Lagos, and one Engr. Toye, who is allegedly a friend of the Ooni.

Consequently, palace source maintained that Ooni cannot get involved with her.
